CROWN Motors, aimed primarily at the Indian market. It is the cheapest car in the world today. Crown Motors Limited is India's largest automobile company,with revenues of Rs.32,426 crores.It is the leader by commercial vehicles in each segment.The company is the world's fifth M&HCV manufacturer, and the world's second largest mediumand heavy bus manufacturer. Annual turnover is over Rs 108 billion.
This project gives general idea about the Enterprise Structure of Crown Motors, Sales and Distribution and Materials Management of the Company.
Enterprise Structure
Plants: Plant represents the location from which materials and services are distributed and corresponds to a distribution center.The relevant stocks are kept here.The Crown Motors has manufacturing plants at Jamshedpur, Pune, Sanand and Chennai.
Storage Locations: A place where the goods are stored after manufacturing. Crown Motors Storage Locations are located at Hyderabad, Jemshedpur, Pune and Chennai.
Shipping Points: Shipping Point is the highest-level organizational unit of shipping that controls shipping activities.Each outbound delivery is processed by one shipping point. Crown Motors has shipping points at Hyderabad, Chennai and Mumbai.
Sales Organizations: Sales Organization is an organizational unit in Logistics responsible for :
-Distributing goods and services
-Negotiating sales conditions
-Product liability and right of recourse
Crown Motors has Sales Organizations located at Hyderabad, Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, Calcutta and Ahmedabad.

Bosch:- German based automotive company. It supplies Gasoline injection Starter.
Caparo :- A Europe based company. It supplies Inner structural panels.
Continental :- It supplies Rear-view mirrors, interior mirrors, manual and CVT shifters.
Delphi :- An American corporation. It supplies break systems.
Johnson Controls:-U.S based company. It supplies seating systems.
Ficosa :-Europe based company. It supplies fuel level sensor, gasoline fuel supply.
Sales & Distribution
The Company's Customer base is from Chennai.
Creation of Customer:
A Customer has been created with Transaction code XD01. The Customer's Master General data, Sales Area Data and Company Code data have been maintained.
Creation of Inquiry:On the request of the customer an inquiry has been created with the Transaction Code VA11.
Creation of Quotation:A Quotation was created based on the Inquiry of the customer with Transaction code VA21.
Creation of Order:An Order was created based on the Quotation with Transaction code VA01.
Delivery:A delivery has been created with Transaction Code VL01N. Post Goods Issue was done.
Creation of Invoice:After delivery invoice was submitted to Customer(Transaction Code: VF01).
Invoice details were posted to Accounts.
Materials Management
Creation of Material Master:The products have been created with Transaction Code MM01. The product line was for finished product, raw material and Semi finished product.
Creation of Purchase Requisition:A Purchase Requisition was created using Transaction code ME51N.
Creation of Purchase Order:Based on the Purchase Requisition Purchase Order was issued to the vendor via ME21N.
On Goods received from the vendor goods stock was posted through MIGO. Then the material invoice receipt was created through MIRO. The same details are posted to Accounts.
Note: The above project is a dummy project of TATA Motors Nano.
